ORDINANCE NO. 060363

 

Accepting and approving a $670,726.00 contract amendment with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services to provide funding for HIV prevention services; increasing revenue by $412,963.00 in the Governmental Grants Fund; and increasing appropriations by $71,077.70 in the Governmental Grants Fund.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That a $670,726.00 contract amendment between the City of Kansas City, Missouri, acting through its Director of Health, and the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, acting through its Director of Administration, whereby the State will provide additional funding for HIV prevention, education, risk reduction and counseling/testing services for the period beginning January 1, 2006 through December 31, 2006, for a total contract amount not to exceed $1,277,978.00, is hereby accepted and approved. A copy of the contract, in substantial form, is filed with the Director of Health.

 

Section 2. That the revenue in the following account of the Governmental Grants Fund is hereby reduced by the following amount:

 

06-2480-500000-472300 HIV Prevention $ 627,502.00

 

Section 3. That the revenue in the following accounts of the Governmental Grants Fund is hereby estimated in the following amounts :

 

06-2480-500001-472300-G50241906 HIV Prevention $ 620,170.62

06-2480-500001-472300-G50241907 HIV Prevention 420,295.00

TOTAL $1,040,465.62

 

Section 4. That the appropriations in the following accounts of the Governmental Grants Fund is hereby reduced by the following amounts:

 

06-2480-505413-A-G50241906 HIV Prevention $ 1,251.26

06-2480-505413-B-G50241906 HIV Prevention 222.38

06-2480-505413-C-G50241906 HIV Prevention 1,909.69

TOTAL $ 3,383.33

 

Section 5. That the appropriations in the following accounts of the Governmental Grants Fund is hereby increased by the following amounts:

 

06-2480-505413-A-G50241907 HIV Prevention $ 7,147.00

06-2480-505413-B-G50241907 HIV Prevention 71,978.00

TOTAL $ 79,125.00

 


Section 6. That the appropriation in the following account of the Governmental Grants Fund is hereby reduced by the following amount:

 

06-2480-505413-C-G50241907 HIV Prevention $ 4,663.97

Section 7. That the Director of Health is hereby authorized to expend the sum of $670,726.00 from funds appropriated to Account No. 06-2480-505413.
