ORDINANCE NO. 971753

 

Reducing the appropriation in the HOME OWNERSHIP-Rehab Rebate account of the Community Development Fund - Year 22 by the sum of $375,000.00; appropriating said sum to various accounts within said Fund; and approving an amendment to the 1996 Consolidated Plan.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the appropriation in the following account of the Community Development Fund - Year 22 is hereby reduced by the following amount:

 

97-265-055-2187-B HOME OWNERSHIP-Rehab Rebate $375,000.00

 

Section 2. That the sum of $375,000.00 is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the Community Development Fund - Year 22 to the following accounts in said Fund:

 

97-265-055-2120-B Minor Home Repair $300,000.00

97-265-055-2124-B K.C. Building Minor Home Repair 75,000.00

TOTAL $375,000.00

 

Section 3. That an amendment to the 1996 Consolidated Plan, reducing the K.C. Building Blocks Rebate Program by $375,000.00, increasing the K.C. Building Blocks Minor Home Repair Program by $75,000.00 and increasing the Minor Home Repair Program by $300,000.00 is hereby approved.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
