COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR ORDINANCE NO. 010818

 

Authorizing a $125,000.00 contract with the Community Movement for Urban Progress d/b/a Move-Up for the purpose of providing operating funds.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of the Department of Housing and Community Development is hereby authorized to execute a contract with the Community Movement for Urban Progress d/b/a Move Up, in the amount of $125,000.00, for the purpose of providing operating funds to be paid from funds previously appropriated to Account No. 02-294-055-2136-B, Home Ownership. A copy of the contract, in substantial form, is attached hereto and is hereby approved.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
