ORDINANCE NO. 940749

Approving a $13,500.00 contract with Starlight Theatre Association for an entertainment contract for the promotion and production of "Dream Girls of Kansas City" from the Neighborhood Tourist Development Fund (Fifth Council District).

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of Neighborhood and Community Services is authorized to execute a $13,500.00 contract with Starlight Theatre Association for an entertainment contract for the promotion and production of "Dream Girls of Kansas City" from funds previously appropriated in the Neighborhood Tourist Development Fund to Account No. 235-067-2150B (Fifth Council District), which contract is hereby approved in substantial form as that on file in the Department of Neighborhood and Community Services.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
