ORDINANCE NO. 130831

 

Rezoning a 1.23 acre tract of land generally located at 8326 Wornall Rd from Districts R-1.5 (Residential 1.5) and R-6 to District B3-2. (Case No. 14418-P, McDonalds)

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That Chapter 88, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, commonly known as the Zoning and Development Code, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 88-20A0941, rezoning an approximately 1.23 acre tract of land generally located at 8326 Wornall Rd from Districts R-1.5 (Residential 1.5) and R-6 (Residential 6) to District B3-2 (Community Business (dash 2)), said section to read as follows:

 

Section 88-20A0941. That an area legally described as:

 

All that part of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 19, Township 48, Range 33, in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, described as follows: Beginning at a point 880 feet North of the Southeast corner of said Quarter Section; thence West 305 feet to the East line of a tract heretofore sold to Ruhl-Hartman School District No. 57; thence South 195 feet; thence East 305 feet; thence North 195 feet to the point of beginning, except any part in roads.

 

Also known as: A tract of land being all in the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 19, Township 48, Range 33, in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, being more particularly described as follows:

Commencing at the Southeast corner of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 19, Township 48, Range 33, in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri; thence North 00 degrees 00 minutes 04 seconds West on the East line of said Section 19, a distance of 880.00 feet; thence North 89 degrees 06 minutes 18 seconds West, a distance of 30.00 feet to a point on the West right-of-way line of Wornall Road as now established, said point also being the Point of Beginning; thence North 89 degrees 06 minutes 18 seconds West, a distance of 275.00 feet; thence South 00 degrees 00 minutes 04 seconds East, a distance of 195.00 feet to a point on the North right-of-way line of 84th Street; thence South 89 degrees 06 minutes 18 seconds East on said North right-of-way line of 84th Street, a distance of 275.00 feet to a point on said West right-of-way line of Wornall Road; thence North 00 degrees 00 minutes 04 seconds West on said West right-of-way line of Wornall Road, a distance of 195.00 feet to the point of beginning.

 


is hereby rezoned from Districts R-1.5 (Residential 1.5) and R-6 (Residential 6) to District B3-2 (Community Business (dash 2)), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 88-20A0941, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and in accordance with Section 88-20 thereof.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
