ORDINANCE NO. 940599

Authorizing the Director of Public Works to enter into a supplemental agreement with the Missouri Highway and Transportation Department, Missouri Pacific Railroad and Kansas City Southern Railroad for the installation of new flashing light signals and gates at the Lydia Avenue railroad crossings.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized on behalf of the City to enter into a Supplemental Agreement for Upgrading Active Warning Devices with the Missouri Highway and Transportation Department, the Missouri Pacific Railroad and the Kansas City Southern Railroad for the installation of new flashing light signals and gates at the Lydia Avenue crossings of the tracks of those railroads. A copy of the agreement is attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference.
