ORDINANCE NO. 040798

 

Authorizing a $51,758.00 Third Amendment to Agreement No. 000257 with TapanAm Associates, Inc. for the Sni-A-Bar Road Bridge over Kansas City Southern Railroads and authorizing the Director of Public Works to expend $51,758.00 for the project.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to enter into and execute, on behalf of the City, a $51,758.00 Third Amendment to Agreement No. 000257 with TapanAm Associates, Inc., essentially in the form attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, relating to engineering services in connection with the replacement of Sni-A-Bar Road Bridge over Kansas City Southern Railroads, to complete Phase II, in Kansas City, Missouri, Council District 6, Project No. 5425, to be completed in three phases:

 

Phase I: Conceptual Design Services

Phase II: Final Design Services

Phase III: Construction Observation

 

Section 2. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to expend the sum of $51,758.00 from funds previously appropriated to Account No. 05-3090-897568-B, Sni-A-Bar Road over KCSRR.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
