ORDINANCE NO. 970165

Authorizing the Director of Parks and Recreation to enter into an agreement with Sprint Spectrum to authorize entry upon City property, generally located at 69th Street and Ward Parkway (Arno Park), to conduct and perform studies, tests and inspections of the property for purposes of installing communications equipment.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of Parks and Recreation is hereby authorized to execute, on behalf of the City, an agreement with Sprint Spectrum allowing it to enter upon City property generally located at 69th Street and Ward Parkway (Arno Park), to conduct and perform surveys, geotechnical soil borings and analyses, Phase I environmental audits, boundary surveys, radio propagation studies, and such other tests and inspections of the property to determine a location site for communications equipment. Said agreement shall substantially conform to the agreement attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference.
