COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR ORDINANCE NO. 041187

 

Rezoning an area of approximately .19 acres generally located at the southeast corner of 16th Street and Jefferson Street from District C-2-p to District R-2b.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0589, rezoning an area of approximately .19 acres generally located at the southeast corner of 16th Street and Jefferson Street from District C-2-p (Local Retail Business, Limited District) to District R-2b (Two-Family Dwellings), said section to read as follows:

 

Section 80-11A0589. That an area legally described as:

 

All that portion of Lots 1 through 5, Block 3, King & Boutons Addition, lying west of a line described as follows: Beginning at a point on the north line of Lot 1, 13 feet east of the northwest corner of said Lot 1, thence southeast in straight line to the west line of Lot 3 at a point 40 feet south of the northwest corner of said Lot 3, thence southeast in a straight line to the south line of Lot 4 at a point 9 feet west of the southeast corner of said Lot 4.

 

is hereby rezoned from District C-2-p (Local Retail Business, Limited District) to District R-2b (Two-Family Dwellings), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 80-11A0589, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and as an amendment to Section 80-11 thereof.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
