Authorizing a $69,200.00 Second
Amendment to Agreement No. 030053 with Hanson Professional Service, Inc., for
Phase IV Construction Inspection Services to replace Rhinehart Road bridge over
Cedar Creek; authorizing the City Manager to expend $69,200.00 for the project;
and designating requisitioning authority.
BE IT ORDAINED
BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section 1. That
the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to enter into and execute, on
behalf of the City, a $69,200.00 Second Amendment to Agreement No. 030053 with
Hanson Professional Service, Inc., for Project No. 89005489 for Phase IV
Construction Inspection Services to replace Rhinehart Road bridge over Cedar
Creek, all in Jackson County, Missouri, Council District No. 5. A copy of the
amendment is on file in the Capital Improvements Management Office and is
incorporated herein by reference.
Section 2. That
the City Manager is hereby authorized to expend the sum of $69,200.00 from
funds previously appropriated to Account No. 06-3090-897534-B.
Section 3. That
the City Manager is hereby designated as requisitioning authority for Account
No. 06-3090-897534.
Section 4. That a quarter of a percent (0.25%) of the estimated
contract amount has been previously appropriated to the Youth Employment Fund
No. 2440.

I hereby certify
that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the
appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash
balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund
from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby
incurred.
