ORDINANCE NO. 950800

Authorizing exercise of the City's option to renew for Fiscal Year 1995-96, Contract No. 930120 for City Hall cleaning services with Modern Maintenance, Inc., and the expenditure of previously appropriated funds in the not to exceed amount of $269,500.00.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the work of providing basic and specialized cleaning services at the City Hall building, 414 East 12th Street, Kansas City, Missouri, is hereby provided for and authorized.

Section 2. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to execute Kansas City's option to extend Contract No. 930120 with Modern Maintenance, Inc., for the period May 1, 1995 through April 30, 1996, in the not to exceed amount of $269,500.00.

Section 3. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to expend the sum not to exceed $269,500.00 from funds heretofore appropriated in Account No. 96-100-089-1200-B as and for consideration in the aforesaid contract.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
