ORDINANCE NO. 031097

 

Amending Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances, by adding a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0519, rezoning an area of approximately 31 acres generally located on the south side of N.W. Englewood Road and west of Missouri Highway 169 from Districts R-2b (Two-Family Dwellings) and CP-2 (Local Planned Business Center) to District R-2b (Two-Family Dwellings). (12970-P-2)

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0519, rezoning an area of approximately 31 acres generally located on the south side of N.W. Englewood Road and west of Missouri Highway 169 from Districts R-2b (Two-Family Dwellings) and CP-2 (Local Planned Business Center) to District R-2b (Two-Family Dwellings), said section to read as follows:

 

Section 80-11A0519. That an area legally described as:

 

TRACT 1-C&D: A tract of land in Section 34, Township 51, Range 33 East, more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the northeast corner of Section 34, Township 51, Range 33; thence South 89E1404 East, a distance 840.20 feet; thence North 00E1727 East, a distance of 5.24 feet; thence South 89E1404 East, a distance 517.99 feet; thence South 00E4556 West, a distance of 35.00 feet to the true point of beginning; thence South 01E2726 West, a distance of 140.47 feet; thence along a curve to the right, being tangent to the last described course, having a central angle of 20E3616, a radius of 474.04 feet, an arc length of 170.47 feet, a chord bearing of South 11E4419 West and chord length of 169.56 feet; thence South 22E0111 West, a distance of 4.81 feet, thence along a curve to the left, being tangent to the last described course, having a central angle of 69E2805, a radius of 608.45 feet, an arc length of 737.71 feet, a chord bearing of South 12E5633 East and chord length of 693.35 feet; thence South 47E3104 East, a distance of 59.00 feet; thence along a curve to the right, being tangent to the last described course, having a central angle of 13E2144, a radius of 800.63 feet, an arc length of 186.57 feet, a chord bearing of South 40E4645 East and chord length of 186.15 feet; thence South 34E0553 East, a distance of 10.33 feet, thence along a curve to the left, being tangent to the last described course, having a central angle of 16E0705, a radius of 800.00 feet, an arc length of 225.05 feet, a chord bearing of South 42E0925 East and chord length of 224.31 feet; thence South 50E1258 East, a distance of 19.14 feet; thence along a curve to the left, being tangent to the last described course, having a central angle of 10E3719, a radius of 800.00 feet, and arc length of 148.31 feet, a chord bearing of South 55E3137East and a chord length of 148.10 feet, thence South 60E5017 East, a distance of 80.86 feet; thence along a curve to the right, being tangent to the last described course, having a central angle of 05E2130,


a radius of 800.00 feet, an arc length of 74.82 Feet, a chord bearing of South 58E0932 East and chord length of 74.79 feet; thence North 64E0339 East, a distance of 28.69 feet; thence North 79E5044 East, a distance of 303.35 feet; thence North 01E0853 West, a distance 65.29 feet; thence North 43E2433 East, a distance of 1018.82 feet; thence South 89E5736 West, a distance 1172.24 feet; thence North 00E3119 East, a distance of 639.05 feet; thence North 89E1404 West, a distance 564.65 feet to the point of beginning. Containing 1,337,135.22 square feet or 30.6964 acres, more or less.

 

is hereby rezoned from Districts R-2b (Two-Family Dwellings) and CP-2 (Local Planned Business Center) to District R-2b (Two-Family Dwellings), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 80-11A0519, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and as an amendment to Section 80-11 thereof.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
