ORDINANCE NO. 960730
Reestimating revenue in the amount of $73,477.00 and
appropriating said sum to the Swope Parkway - HUD Loan account; designating
requisitioning authority; and authorizing execution of a contract amendment
with the Model Cities Health Corporation of Kansas City by increasing the
contract amount by $73,447.00 for a total of $5,073,447.00 for the development
of two public health and family development facilities.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section 1. That the revenue in the following
account of the Section 108 Loan Fund is hereby reestimated in the following
amount:
97-254-055-7714 Swope Parkway - HUD
Loan $73,447.00
Section 2. That the sum of $73,447.00 is hereby
appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the Section 108 Loan Fund
to the following account in said Fund:
97-254-055-2421-B Swope Parkway - HUD
Loan $73,447.00
Section 3. That the Director of the Department of
Housing and Community Development is hereby designated as requisitioning
authority for Account No. 97-254-055-2421-B.
Section 4. That the Director of the Department of
Housing and Community Development is hereby authorized to execute a contract
amendment with Model Cities Health Corporation of Kansas City d/b/a Swope
Parkway Health Center, increasing the contract amount by $73,447.00 for a total
contract amount of $5,073,447.00, for the development of two public health and
family development facilities to be paid from funds herein appropriated to
Account No. 97-254-055-2421-B, Swope Parkway - HUD Loan. A copy of the
contract, in substantial form, is attached hereto and is hereby approved.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise
unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing
expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in
the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each
sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
