ORDINANCE NO. 081223

Reducing appropriations in the Arterial Street Impact Fee Fund in the amount of $4,853,437.00.

WHEREAS, on April 30, 2008, the closing fund balance in the Arterial Street Impact Fee Fund was $694,000.00 in deficit; and

WHEREAS, City staff has reviewed the history of the Arterial Street Impact Fee Fund and have properly accounted for all received funds and earned interest; and

WHEREAS, reducing contingency funds will more accurately reflect funding levels and will not affect current arterial street projects; NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the appropriations in the following accounts of the Arterial Street Impact Fee Fund are reduced by the following amounts:

09-2430-897123-B Shoal Creek District $ 733,352.00

09-2430-897124-B Birmingham District 460,896.00

09-2430-897241-B Airport District 40,812.00

09-2430-897287-B North Oak District 713,789.00

09-2430-897299-B Line Creek District 1,110,281.00

09-2430-897420-B Plaza District 642,412.00

09-2430-897533-B East District 729,898.00

09-2430-897626-B South District 421,997.00

TOTAL $4,853,437.00
