ORDINANCE NO. 130078

 

Rezoning 4 acres of land generally located on the east side of N. Topping Avenue north of the Union Pacific Railroad, from District M 1-5 to District M 3-5. (14364-P)

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That Chapter 88, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, commonly known as the Zoning and Development Code, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 88-20A0926, rezoning an area of approximately 4 acres of land generally located on the east side of N. Topping Avenue north of the Union Pacific Railroad, from District M 1-5 (Manufacturing 1-dash 5) to District M 3-5 (Manufacturing 3-dash 5), said section to read as follows:

 

Section 88-20A0926. That an area legally described as:

 

Beginning at a rail monument marking the northwest corner of a tract of land conveyed to the Missouri Pacific Railroad Company by deed dated October 31, 1930, recorded in book B-2993, page 448 in the office of the recorder of deeds for Jackson County, Missouri, at Kansas City, said monument being North 89 degrees 53 minutes 30 seconds East from a point in the west line of said section 25, 630.74 feet south of the northwest corner of the southwest quarter of said section 25 and being 30 feet east of and at right angles to said west line of Section 25; thence continuing North 89 degrees 53 minutes 30 seconds East a distance of 610 feet; thence southwardly at right angles to last described course 206 feet; thence, South 75 degrees 58 minutes 30 seconds West 492.3 feet; thence North 89 degrees 52 minutes 30 seconds West 132 feet, more or less, to a point 30 feet east of and at right angles to the west line of Section 25; thence north and parallel with the west line of Section 25, a distance of 324 feet to the point of beginning.

 

is hereby rezoned from District M 1-5 (Manufacturing 1-dash 5) to District M 3-5 (Manufacturing 3-dash 5), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 88-20A0926, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and in accordance with Section 88-20 thereof.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
