ORDINANCE NO. 940617

Authorizing exercise of the City's option to renew for fiscal year 1994-95, Contract No. 930160 for maintenance and emergency repairs of plumbing as needed at various City-owned facilities with Crawford Mechanical Contractors, Inc., and the expenditure of previously appropriated funds therefor not to exceed the amount of $100,000.00.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the work of providing maintenance and emergency repairs of plumbing as needed at various City-owned facilities for the period May 1, 1994 through April 30, 1995, is hereby provided for and authorized.

Section 2. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to execute Kansas City's option to extend Contract No. 930160 with Crawford Mechanical Contractors, Inc., for completing such plumbing maintenance and emergency repairs.

Section 3. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to expend the sum not to exceed $100,000.00 from funds heretofore appropriated to Account No. 95-100-089-7727T as and for consideration in the aforesaid contract renewal.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
