ORDINANCE NO. 060442

 

Authorizing the Director of City Development Department to execute a purchase agreement with EDC-Charitable Fund for the purchase of 925 E. 12th Street; appropriating $8,367.00 for the agreement and designating requisitioning authority.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of City Development Department is authorized to execute a purchase agreement for the purchase of 925 E. 12th Street, in the amount of $8,367.00 subject to the appropriation of funds by the City Council for this purpose, and to take all necessary steps to effectuate this transaction, legally described as:

 

All of lots 12 & 13, Block 1, (except part in street) Dundee Place, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, according to the recorded plat thereof.

 

Section 2. That the Director of City Development Department is hereby designated as requisitioning authority for Account No. 3410 89-7770-B 89000505 in the amount of $8,367.00

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
