ORDINANCE NO. 090648
Dedicating for public use a
portion of City-owned property located at 2500 Campbell Street, Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, and directing the City Clerk to record this
ordinance.
WHEREAS, a
portion of property located at 2500 Campbell Street, in Kansas City, Jackson
County, Missouri, and owned by the City is needed as right of way for KCATA use
and associated with the KCATA Troost Avenue Bus Rapid Transit project and as
shown on plans filed under File No. 2008-091A in the Office of the Director of
City Planning and Development; and
WHEREAS, the
City devotes a portion thereof for public purposes as part of said project; and
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section 1. That
the City hereby dedicates a portion of a tract of land for the purpose of
public right of way (25th Street); said A parcel of land situated in a portion of
Lot 29, Block 2, Resurvey of Blocks 2 and 3, Continuation of J.L. Porters
Second Subdivision, a subdivision of land in the City of Kansas City, Jackson
County, Missouri, said parcel being more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the northeast
corner of said Lot 29, said point being on the south right-of-way line of 25th
Street, as now established; thence North 87 degrees 17 minutes 55 seconds West,
3.49 feet, along said south right-of-way line and the north line of said Lot
29, to the true point of beginning; thence South 02 degrees 42 minutes 05
seconds West, 1.87 feet; thence North 87 degrees 17 minutes 55 seconds West,
72.03 feet along a line parallel with said south right-of-way line; thence
North 02 degrees 42 minutes 05 seconds East, 1.87 feet to a point on said south
right-of-way line; thence South 87 degrees 17 minutes 55 seconds East, 72.03
feet, along said south right-of-way line, to the true point of beginning of
the parcel herein described, containing 135 square feet or 0.0031 acres, more
or less.
Section 2. That
upon the effective date of this ordinance, the City Clerk is hereby directed to
cause this ordinance to be recorded in the office of the Recorder of Deeds for
Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri
