ORDINANCE NO. 980864

 

Authorizing a contract with Sharp Professional Services for up to $48,750.00 for consulting services to assist in conversion of the Citys Real Estate System to become Year 2000 compliant; and authorizing expenditure of previously appropriated funds in the amount of $150,000.00.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Information Technology is authorized to execute on behalf of the City a contract with Sharp Professional Services for up to $48,750.00 for consulting services to assist in conversion of the Citys Real Estate System to become Year 2000 compliant in a form substantially like that attached as Exhibit A.

 

Section 2. That the Director of Information Technology is further authorized to expend up to the sum of $48,750.00 from funds previously appropriated to the following account to satisfy the cost of this contract including necessary modifications and contingencies.

 

Account No. 99-100-018-1800 B Information Technology $48,750.00

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
