ORDINANCE NO. 100764

 

Authorizing an Amended and Restated Lease and Fueling Agreement with Hangar Ten, LLC at the Charles B. Wheeler Downtown Airport.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Aviation is hereby authorized to enter into an Amended and Restated Lease and Fueling Agreement with Hangar Ten, LLC at the Charles B. Wheeler Downtown Airport for 453,519 square feet of land for an initial lease term of 30 years with a renewal term of 30 years. A copy of the Amended and Restated Lease and Fueling Agreement is on file in the Office of the City Clerk.

 

Section 2. That the Director of Aviation is authorized to execute, on behalf of the City, such documents, agreements, certificates and instruments as may be necessary or desirable to carry out and comply with the intent of this ordinance and to implement the matter(s) contemplated without further City Council Action.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
