ORDINANCE NO. 920531

Approving and accepting an amendment to the current STD Program contract with the Missouri Department of Health whereby the State will provide $5,000.00 in additional funding to be used for testing HIV positive patients for one year beginning January 1, 1992, for a new contract total of $439,567.00, and estimating revenue and appropriating $5,000.00 to reflect that additional funding.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the amendment to the current contract between the Missouri Department of Health and the City of Kansas City, acting through its Director of Health, whereby the State agrees to increase funds to be used to provide CD-4 testing for HIV positive patients in the additional amount of $5,000.00 for a new contract total of $439,567.00, for a period of one year beginning January 1, 1992, is hereby accepted and approved. A copy of the amended contract is attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference.

Section 2. That the revenue in the following account of the General Fund is hereby increased by the following amount.

100-050-7802 Venereal Disease Control Grant 1992 $5,000.00

Section 3. That the sum of $5,000.00 is hereby appropriated form the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the General Fund to the following account in the following amount:

100-050-1400-B Health Laboratory $5,000.00
