ORDINANCE NO. 930454

Authorizing an agreement with the Jackson County Board of Services for the Developmentally Disabled to help pay the 1993-94 fiscal year cost of providing specialized transportation for Kansas City residents; and the expenditure of previously appropriated funds in the amount of $150,000.00.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with the Jackson County Board of Services for the Developmentally Disabled for payment by the City of $150,000.00 to be applied in fiscal year 1993-94 toward the cost of providing specialized transportation services for Kansas City residents who are developmentally disabled. A copy of the agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk.

Section 2. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to expend $150,000.00 previously appropriated to Account 208-069-2120 F in the Fiscal Year 1993-94 budget for use under the agreement.

Section 3. That the terms and conditions set forth in the agreement, including the payment of $150,000.00 to be used as described in the agreement, is hereby approved.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligations hereby incurred.
