ORDINANCE NO. 900481

Authorizing the Director of Housing and Community Development to execute an amendment to an agreement with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources thereby increasing the amount for the Home Weatherization Program from $404,179.00 to $599,224.00 and also appropriating these additional funds to various accounts.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of Housing and Community Development is hereby authorized to execute on behalf of the City an amendment to Subgrantee Assistance Agreement No. G-90-16-2600-10-DOE from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources to increase the amount for the Home Weatherization Program from $404,179.00 to $599,224.00.

Section 2. That the revenue estimate in the following account of the General Fund is hereby increased by the following additional amount:

001-060861 Home Weatherization-DOE 1991 $113,740.00

Section 3. That the sum of $113,740.00 is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the General Fund, Account 1-801, to the following accounts in the General Fund:

001-65560 A Home Weatherization-DOE $ 27,012.00 001-65560 B Home Weatherization-DOE 64,843.00 001-65560 C Home Weatherization-DOE 14,752.00 001-65560 E Home Weatherization-DOE 7,133.00 TOTAL $113,740.00

Section 4. That the revenue estimate for the following account of the General Fund is hereby reduced by the following amount:

001-060866 B Home Weatherization-Exxon 1991 $ 1,925.00

Section 5. That the appropriation in the following account of the General Fund is hereby reduced by the following amount:

001-65570 B Home Weatherization-Exxon $ 1,925.00

Section 6. That the Director of Housing and Community Development is hereby authorized to execute on behalf of the City Subgrantee Assistance Agreement No. G-90-16-8385-10-STPWL from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources in the amount of $173,716.00 for the Home Weatherization Program.
Section 7. That the revenue in the following account of the General Fund is hereby estimated in the following amount:

001-060871 Home Weatherization-Stripper Well -1991 $173,716.00

Section 8. That the sum of $173,716.00 is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the General Fund, Account 1-801, to the following accounts in the General Fund:

001-65580 A Home Weatherization-Stripper Well -1991 $ 15,725.00

001-65580 B Home Weatherization-Stripper Well -1991 154,791.00

001-65580 C Home Weatherization-Stripper Well -199l 1,100.00

001-65580 E Home Weatherization-Stripper Well -1991 2,100.00

TOTAL $173,716.00

Section 9. That the Director of Housing and Community Development is hereby designated requisitioning authority for Account No. 001-65580, Home Weatherization-Stripper Well 1991.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure, is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
