RESOLUTION NO. 940744
Amending the Little Blue Valley Area Plan for that part
of Kansas City bounded by 40 Highway on the north, 350 Highway and Unity
Village city limits on the south, Raytown city limits on the west, and Lee's
Summit city limits on the east.
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 910711, adopted August 1,
1991, the City Council adopted a plan for the development and redevelopment of
the Little Blue Valley Area being that part of Kansas City bounded by 40 Highway
on the north, 350 Highway and Unity Village city limits on the south, Raytown
city limits on the west, and Lee's Summit city limits on the east; and
WHEREAS, after further study and reconsideration, it
has been determined that it is appropriate to modify the Land Use Plan for the
Little Blue Valley Area; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section A. That an amendment to the Little Blue
Valley Area Plan for that part of Kansas City bounded by 40 Highway on the
north, 350 Highway and Unity Village city limits on the south, Raytown city
limits on the west, and Lee's Summit city limits on the east be amended by
repealing the Land Use Map therefor and adopting a new Land Use Map for a
triangular shaped area bounded by the southbound and northbound traffic lanes
of Missouri 350 Highway, approximately three-quarter miles from the
intersection of Bannister Road and Missouri 350 Highway. A copy of said
amendment is attached hereto and made a part hereof.
Section B. That the Council finds and declares that
before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public
notices and hearings required by law have been given and had.
