Declaring it necessary to establish the grade on N.W. 72nd Street from N. Roanridge Avenue to N. Ava Avenue, all in Kansas City, Platte County, Missouri.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Council finds and declares it necessary to establish said grades on N.W. 72nd Street from N. Roanridge Avenue to N. Ava Avenue, all in Kansas City, Platte County, Missouri; with the following described centerline of N.W. 72nd Street., as follows, to wit:

Beginning at the Northwest corner of the Northeast quarter of Section 19 located in Township 51 North, Range 33 West with stationing 10+00, thence North 89 51' 23.26" East a distance of 167.65 feet to a Point of Inflection stationed 11+67.65, thence South 89 08' 35.50" East a distance of 2,108.54 feet to a Point of Inflection stationed of 32+76.19, thence South 8852'02.92" a distance of 353.22 feet to the Northeast corner of the Northeast Quarter of Section 19 located in Range 51 North and Range 33 West, thence South 88 52' 02.92" East along the North line of Section 20 located in Range 51 North and Range 33 West a distance of 1,625.08 feet to a Point of Curvature stationed 52+54.49, thence along a curve with a radius of 3,000 feet a distance of 909.63 feet and which said curve has a Point of Inflection at station 57+12.82 and a deflection angle of 17 22' 21.51" left to a Point on Tangent stationed 61+64.12, thence North 73 45' 35.57" East a distance of 904.35 feet to a Point of Curvature stationed 70+68.47, thence along a curve with a radius of 900 feet a distance of 165.64 feet and which said curve has a Point of Inflection at station 71+51.53 and a deflection angle of 10 32' 42.03" right to a Point on Tangent stationed 72+34.11, thence North 84 18' 17.60" East a distance of 1,474.51 feet to a Point on Tangent stationed 87+08.63 and said point being located in the vicinity of the easterly right of way of the intersection of N Ava Avenue and NW 72nd Street as dedicated with the final plat of Platte Brooke, a subdivision located in Kansas City, Missouri and located in Platte County and said point being due East approximately 168.55' from the east line of Section 17 located in Range 51 North and Range 33 West and South 035'90.00" West along the east line of said section approximately 606.23 feet to the Southeast corner of said section.

Section 2. That the improvements shall be made in accordance with the provisions of Section 224, Article VII of the Charter of Kansas City, and is shown on the plans on file in the office of the Director of Public Works, and is evidenced by the Declaration of Necessity No. 5318, locating and defining the adjacent grade points on said streets, the
grades are to be located along the centerlines which shall be connected by vertical curves between such grade points, the elevations of which are herein given below, in feet, above the North American Vertical Datum 1988, to wit:
