ORDINANCE NO. 001536

Authorizing a $105,338.38 Utility Agreement between Kansas City and the Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission for water facility work associated with the highway improvements in the area of M-150 from Prospect Avenue to Botts Road; and authorizing expenditure of funding therefor.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of Water Services is hereby authorized to execute, on behalf of Kansas City, a $105,338.38 Utility Agreement between Kansas City, Missouri and the Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission for water facility work associated with the Commissions highway improvements in the area of M-150 from Prospect Avenue to Botts Road Project. A copy of the agreement is on file in the office of the Director of Water Services.

Section 2. That the Director is further authorized to expend up to the sum of $105,338.38 from funds previously to Account No. 01-801-080-7701-T Water Main Relocations which represents the estimated cost associated with the water facility work.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
