Amending Second Committee Substitute for Ordinance No. 061142, which rezoned an area of approximately 44 acres generally located on the east side of N. Amity Avenue, about 1,200 feet south of N.W. Tiffany Springs Road, to correct an error in the legal description. (10918-GP-4)

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That Section A of Second Committee Substitute for Ordinance No. 061142 is hereby repealed and a new Section A is hereby enacted to correct an error in the legal description, to read as follows:

 

Section A. That Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0707, rezoning an area of approximately 44 acres generally located on the east side of N. Amity Avenue, about 1,200 feet south of N.W. Tiffany Springs Road, from District GP-6 (Low Density Residential) to District GP-3 (Regional Business), said section to read as follows:

 

Section 80-11A0707. That an area legally described as:

 

A tract of land in the Southeast Quarter of Section 2, Township 51, Range 34, Kansas City, Platte County, Missouri, being bounded and described as follows: Commencing at the Northwest corner of said Southeast Quarter; thence South 01006 West along the West line of said Southeast Quarter, 1266.54 feet; thence South 894954 East, 47.04 feet to a point on the Easterly right-of-way line of N Amity Avenue, as now established, said point being also the True Point of Beginning of the tract to be herein described; thence South 01125 East along said Easterly line, 469.93 feet; thence South 205830 East along said Easterly line, 146.54 feet; thence South 080907 East along said Easterly line, 144.39 feet; thence South 04038 East along said Easterly line, 331.46 feet to a point on the Northerly right-of-way line of Missouri Highway 152, as now established; thence South 893453 East along said Northerly line, 645.62 feet; thence South 601708 East along said Northerly line, 368.08 feet; thence South 822606 East along said Northerly line, 239.07 feet; thence North 881453 East along said Northerly line, 176.88 feet; thence North 230557 East, 77.84 feet; thence North 013657 East, 78.01 feet; thence North 353352 East, 118.61 feet; thence North 113016 East, 126.34 feet; thence North 205637 West, 65.06 feet; thence North 042846 East, 52.48 feet; thence North 202310 West, 64.29 feet; thence North 033630 East, 117.21 feet; thence North 491549 East, 235.28 feet; thence North 172838 East, 101.59 feet; thence North 113641 West, 85.82 feet; thence North 315646 East, 65.41 feet; thence North 511216 East, 123.93 feet; thence North 152833 East, 110.93 feet; thence North 092817 West, 44.28 feet; thence North 021606 East, 22.24 feet; thence South 894835 West, 1896.14 feet to the True Point of Beginning. is hereby rezoned from District GP-6 (Low Density Residential) to District GP-3 (Regional Business), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 80-11A0707, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and as an amendment to Section 80-11 thereof.
