ORDINANCE NO. 040779

Authorizing the Director of City Development to enter into a Professional Services Contract with Duncan | Associates in the amount of $375,000.00 for services relating to revision of the Zoning Ordinance and Subdivision Regulations.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of the Department of City Development is hereby authorized to execute a Professional Services Contract, on behalf of the City, with Duncan | Associates for professional services related to the revision of the Zoning Ordinance and Subdivision Regulations in the amount of $375,000.00 from funds previously appropriated to Account No. 05-1000-642326-B, Zoning Ordinance. A copy of the contract, in substantial form, is attached hereto and is hereby approved.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
