ORDINANCE NO. 031127

 

Amending Ordinance No. 030251 by repealing Section 1 thereof and enacting in lieu thereof a new Section 1, correcting the legal description of Tract D-1.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That Ordinance No. 030251 is hereby amended by repealing Section 1 thereof and enacting in its place a new section to read as follows:

 

Section 1. That the following tracts of land are hereby condemned and taken in fee simple for public use as a park and/or recreation area and related purposes and uses and said tracts are legally described as follows:

 

TRACT C-1: All that part of Tract C, Citadel Center, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, described as follows: Beginning at the most southwesterly corner of said Tract C; thence North 32E3440 East, 234.04 feet; thence North 58E0731 East, 305.00 feet; thence South 28E1745 East, 162.61 feet to the northerly right-of-way line of Euclid Drive; thence southwesterly along said line on a curve to the left having a radius of 175.00 feet and an initial tangent bearing being at right angles with the last described course, an arc distance of 37.13 feet; thence South 49E3253 West continuing along said line 216.99 feet; thence southwesterly continuing along said line on a curve to the left having a radius of 330.00 feet and tangent to the last described course an arc distance of 87.01 feet; then North 86E5716 West, 208.65 feet too the point of beginning.

 

TRACT D-1: A tract of land located in the Northeast Quarter of Section 4, Township 48 North, Range 33 West, a part of Tract D, Citadel Center, a subdivision in the City of Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, described as follows: Beginning at the southwest corner of said Tract D Citadel Center; then easterly along the south lot line of said Tract D South 86E5716 East, 300.02 feet; thence North 02E1808 East, 150.00 feet to the true point of beginning; thence North 86E5716 West, 150 feet; thence North 40E2707 West, 83.84 feet to the east right-of-way line of Euclid Drive; thence northeasterly along the east rightofway line of Euclid Drive, North 49E3253 East, 205.82 feet; thence easterly, continuing along said line, on a curve to the right having a radius of 125 feet and tangent to the last described course, an arc distance of 93.77 feet; thence easterly along the north lot line of said Tract D South 87E2809 East, 291.14 feet; thence southerly, continuing along said line, on a curve


to the right having a radius of 15 feet and tangent to the last described course, an arc distance of 23.49 feet; thence continuing southerly, along the east lot line of said Tract D, South 02E1444 West, 209.65 feet; thence westerly along the south lot line of said Tract D, North 86E5716 West, 127.35 feet; thence continuing along the lot line of said Tract D, North 02E1808 East, 13.55 feet; thence westerly along the south lot line of said Tract D: North 86E5716 West, 208.55 feet; thence continuing along the lot line of said Tract D, South 02E1808 West, 28.55 feet to the point of beginning.
