ORDINANCE NO. 990672

Authorizing a $115,259.00 agreement with the Metropolitan Community Colleges Business & Technology Center for Project No. C000569, Industrial Skills Training at Kansas City International Airport and appropriating funds in the amount of $115,259.00.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of Aviation is hereby authorized to execute a $115,259.00 one-year agreement, with four one-year renewal options subject to City Council appropriations, for Project No. C000569, Industrial Skills Training at Kansas City International Airport with the Metropolitan Community Colleges Business & Technology Center from funds hereinafter appropriated to General Airport Account No. 00-821-062-1025-B-1036. A copy of the agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk.

Section 2. That the sum of $115,259.00 is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the General Airport Fund to the following account in the General Airport Fund:

00-821-062-1025-B-1036 Human Resources $115,259.00

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
