ORDINANCE NO. 931319
Reducing the Debt Service-HUD account by $25,000.00;
appropriating such sum to Twelfth Street Heritage; authorizing the Director of
Housing and Community Development to execute an amendment to a contract with
Twelfth Street Heritage Development Corporation to increase the contract amount
by $25,000.00 for a total of $150,000.00 to provide funds for rehabilitation
support services; and approving an amendment to the CDBG Statement of
Objectives.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section 1. That the appropriation in the following
account is hereby reduced by the following amount:
262-055-2401-B Debt Service-HUD
$25,000.00
Section 2. That the sum of $25,000.00 is hereby
appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the Community Development
Fund-Year 19, Fund No. 262, to the following account in said fund:
262-055-2240-B Twelfth Street Heritage
$25,000.00
Section 3. That the Director of Housing and
Community Development is hereby authorized to execute a contract amendment with
Twelfth Street Heritage Development Corporation, increasing the contract amount
by $25,000.00 for a total contract amount of $150,000.00, for the purpose of
providing funds for rehabilitation support services from funds herein
appropriated to Account No. 262- 055-2240-B, Twelfth Street Heritage. A copy
of the contract, in substantial form, is attached hereto and is hereby approved.
Section 4. That an amendment for the Community
Development Block Grant Statement of Objectives and Projected Use of Funds-Year
19, increasing the Twelfth Street Heritage Program by $25,000.00 to $150,000.00
and decreasing the Debt Service-HUD by $25,000.00 to $2,168,614.00 is hereby
approved.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise
unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing
expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in
the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each
