ORDINANCE NO. 090834

 

Amending Ordinance No. 081121 by repealing Section 2 thereof and enacting in lieu thereof a new section, revising the legal description for Project No. R of the Shoal Creek Tax Increment Financing Plan.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That Ordinance No. 081121, passed November 20, 2008, is hereby amended by repealing Section 2 of the ordinance and enacting in lieu thereof a new section, to read as follows:

 

Section 2. Effective November 30, 2008, (the Original Effective Date), the redevelopment project area designated by the City to constitute Redevelopment Project R, legally described as follows:

 

 All of Lots 1, 2 and Tract A, Highland Plaza West First Plat, a subdivision of land in Kansas City and all that part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 36, Township 52 North, Range 32 West of the Fifth Principal Meridian, Kansas City, all being in Clay County, Missouri, being described as follows; Beginning at the Southwest corner of Tract G, Amber Lakes-First Plat, a subdivision of land in said Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri; thence South 744721 East, along the South line of said Tract G, 360.27 feet to a point on the West right-of-way line of North Cedar Avenue, as now established; thence Southerly, along said West right-of-way line, on a curve to the left, having an initial tangent bearing of South 051116 West, a radius of 805.00 feet, a central angle of 051417, an arc distance of 73.60 feet; thence South 000302 East, along said West right-of-way line 358.40 feet to the Northeast corner of Lot 2, Highland Plaza West-First Plat, a subdivision in said Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri; thence North 780531 West, along the North line of said Lot 2, 206.78 feet; thence North 780708 West, along said North line, 29.32 feet to the Southeast corner of Tract A, said Highland Plaza West-First Plat, thence Northerly, along the East line of said Tract A, on a curve to the left, having an initial tangent bearing of South 855657 East, a radius of 8.00 feet, a central angle of 931100, an arc distance of 13.01 feet, thence North 005203 East, along said East line, 252.73 feet to the Northeast corner of said Tract A; thence North 890757 West, along the North line of said Tract A, 127.30 feet to the Northwest corner thereof; thence North 005203 East, along the West line of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 36, 213.22 feet to the Point of Beginning. Containing 7.32 acres, more or less.

 

is approved and designated as the Shoal Creek Parkway Tax Increment Financing Plan Redevelopment Project R (Project R). The actions of all City officials and the Tax Increment Financing Commission of Kansas City, Missouri, in allocating, paying, depositing, receiving and/or disbursing payments in lieu of taxes or economic activity taxes for Redevelopment Project R, which have been approved after the Original Effective Date, but prior to the effective date of this ordinance, are hereby ratified and approved.

 

Section B. That the remaining sections of Ordinance No. 081121 remain in full force and effect.
