ORDINANCE NO. 050361

 

Accepting various deeds conveying to the City of Kansas City, Missouri, certain properties in Jackson County, Missouri, all for public use for the Downtown Arena and directing the City Clerk to record this ordinance with the Jackson County Recorder's Office.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That various deeds in Jackson County, executed by the following persons, and which appear of record at the respective document number as follows:

1. Tract B Commerce Bank, n.a., formerly known as Commerce Bank of Kansas City, n.a., formerly known as Commerce Trust Company, as Trustee under the last Will and Testament of Joseph A. Guthrie, deceased; Document 2005K0005437, legally described as:

Lot 120 and the North 1/2 of Lot 121, Block 9, McGees Addition to the City of Kansas City, also known as McGees Addition, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, according to the recorded plat thereof.

2. Tract C Guthrie Carroll a/k/a J. Guthrie Carroll and Alice V. Carroll; Document 2005K0004256, legally described as:

The South 24.75 feet of Lot 121, Block 9, McGees Addition to the City of Kansas City, also known as McGees Addition, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, according to the recorded plat thereof.

Lots 145 and 146, Block 11, McGees Addition, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, according to the recorded plat thereof.

Lot 148, Block 11, McGees Addition, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, according to the recorded plat thereof.

17. Tract Y Leona Benanti, Trustee under the April 17, 1995 Trust Agreement; Document 2005K001001, legally described as:

Lots A, B, C and D, except that part thereof in Oak Street, Block 66, McGees Addition, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, according to the recorded plat thereof.

Tract 2: Lot G, Block 66, except that part thereof in Oak Street, McGees Addition, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, according to the recorded plat thereof.


Tract 3: Lot H, Block 66, except that part thereof in Oak Street, McGees Addition, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, according to the recorded plat thereof.

20. Tract BB Alfred K. Simpson, Trustee for Alfred K. Simpson under Agreement Dated January 12, 1983 and Alfred K. Simpson, Jr. & Ann C. Simpson and Donald S. Simpson & Elizabeth T. Simpson; Document 2005K0003350, legally described as:

The North 12 feet of Lot I, Block 66, except that part thereof in Oak Street, McGEES ADDITION, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, according to the recorded plat thereof.

 

All properties herin described, all being recorded in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds for Jackson County, Missouri, at Kansas City, are hereby accepted.

 

Section 2. That upon the effictive date of this ordinance the City Clerk is hereby directed to record a copy of this ordinance in the Office of the Recorder of Deed for Jackson County, Missouri, as evidence of the acceptance of the herein described property by the City for public use purposes.
