ORDINANCE NO. 971681

 

Authorizing a $1,857,787.00 amendment to an agreement with Bucher Willis & Ratliff Corporation for Project No. C21 - Consolidated Rental Car Facility at Kansas City International Airport and appropriating funds in the amount of $2,043,787.00.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Aviation is hereby authorized to execute a $1,857,787.00 amendment to an agreement for Project No. C21 - Consolidated Rental Car Facility at Kansas City International Airport with Bucher Willis & Ratliff. A copy of the amendment is on file in the office of the City Clerk.

 

Section 2. That the sum of $2,043,787.00 is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the Kansas City Airports Fund to the following account in the Kansas City Airports Fund:

 

98-821-062-7261-T-1104 KCI Aviation Facilities Development $2,043,787.00

 

Section 3. That the Director of Aviation is hereby authorized to expend the following amounts heretofore appropriated to the Kansas City Airports Fund (98-821-062-7261-T-11104) for work to be performed under the aforesaid amendment:

 

$1,857,787.00 Consultant Services

$ 186,000.00 Contingent Obligations

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
