ORDINANCE NO. 011760

 

Amending Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances, by adding a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0394, rezoning an area of approximately 11.42 acres generally bounded by N.E. Flintlock Road, N.E. 98th Street, and N.E. Cookingham Drive (Missouri Highway 291) from District R-1aa (One-Family Dwellings) to District R-1a (One-Family Dwellings). (11771-P-4)

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, 1996, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0394, rezoning an area of approximately 11.42 acres generally bounded by N.E. Flintlock Road, N.E. 98th Street, and N.E. Cookingham Drive (Missouri Highway 291) from District R-1aa (One-Family Dwellings) to District R-1a (One-Family Dwellings), said section to read as follows:

 

Section 80-11A0394. That an area legally described as:

 

Part of the Southwest Quarter and the Southeast Quarter of Section 35, Township 52, Range 32, all in Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri, being more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the northwest corner of said Southeast Quarter, thence South 00E42'23" West along the west line of said Southeast Quarter, a distance of 181.50 feet to the true point of beginning; thence South 89E31'07" East and parallel to the north line of said Southwest Quarter, a distance of 337.70 feet to a point on the southwesterly right of way line of Missouri Highway 291, as now established; thence South 23E00'48" East along said southwesterly right of way line, a distance of 594.90 feet to a point of curvature; thence continuing along said southwesterly right of way line and along a curve to the left having a radius of 1185.92 feet, a central angle of 31E19'20" and a length of 648.31 feet to a point on the northwesterly line of Montclair - First Plat, a subdivision of land in Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri; thence South 35E39'53" West along said northwesterly line, a distance of 39.63 feet to a point; thence North 70E41'48" West, a distance of 1048.30 feet to a point; thence North 06E56'13" East, a distance of 304.42 feet to a point on the west line of said Southeast Quarter; thence North 00E42'23" East along said west line, a distance of 433.75 feet to the true point of beginning, and containing 11.4234 acres, more or less.

 

is hereby rezoned from District R-1aa (One-Family Dwellings) to District R-1a (One-Family Dwellings), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 80-11A0394, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and as an amendment to Section 80-11 thereof.

 


Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
