ORDINANCE NO. 980183
Accepting and approving a $1,265.00 contract
amendment with the Missouri Department of Health to fund enhanced pediatric
surveillance; estimating revenue in the amount of $71,722.00 in the
98-Surveillance account of the General Fund; estimating revenue in the amount
of $15,198.00 in the 99-Surveillance account of the General Fund; reducing
revenue in the amount of $94,066.00 in various accounts of the General Fund;
and reducing various appropriation accounts in the amount of $7,146.00 in the
General Fund.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF
KANSAS CITY:
Section 1. That an amendment to a
contract between the City of Kansas City, Missouri, acting through its Director
of Health, and the Missouri Department of Health, acting through its Director
of Administration, whereby the State will provide an additional $1,265.00 to
offset the expense of conducting enhanced pediatric surveillance, is hereby
accepted and approved. A copy of the amendment, in substantial form, is
attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference.
Section 2. That the revenue in the
following account of the General Fund is hereby estimated in the following
amount:
98-100-050-7358 98-Surveillance
$71,722.00
Section 3. That the revenue in the
following account of the General Fund is hereby estimated in the following
amount:
98-100-050-7351 99-Surveillance
$15,198.00
Section 4. That the revenue in the
following accounts of the General Fund are hereby reduced by the following
amounts:
98-100-050-7354 96-Surveillance
$91,812.00
98-100-050-7355 97-Surveillance
2,254.00
TOTAL $94,066.00
Section 5. That the appropriations
in the following accounts of the General Fund are hereby reduced by the
following amounts:

I hereby certify that there is a
balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which
the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise
