COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR ORDINANCE NO. 910339

 

Annexing at the request of property owners Patrick and Lisa McCole approximately 4.56 acres generally located on Northwest Mace Road approximately 800 feet south of Northwest 81st Terrace, in Platte County; and accepting a corrected general warranty deed transferring street right of way at this property to the City of Kansas City.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That pursuant to the provisions of Section

71.012, RSMO. (Supp. 1990), and upon a verified petition requesting annexation the corporate limits of the City of Kansas City are extended to include the following property:

 

The West one-half of Lot 8, BRIDLE PARC ESTATES, a subdivision in Platte County, Missouri, according to the recorded plat thereof, including all that portion of North Mace Road lying north of and adjoining the west one-half of said Lot 8.

 

Section 2. That the Council determines that the annexation

is reasonable and necessary to the proper development of the City.

 

Section 3. That the Council determines that the City has

the ability to furnish normal municipal services to the area within a reasonable time.

 

Section 4. That no written objections to the annexation

were received within fourteen days following the required public hearing.

 

Section 5. That a corrected general warranty deed

transferring street right of way adjacent to this property, recorded on October 24, 1991, in the office of the Platte County Recorder of Deeds at Book 761 Page 550 Document 11354 is accepted.

 

Section 6. That the City Clerk shall cause three certified

copies of this ordinance to be filed with the Clerk of Platte County, upon the effective date of this ordinance.
