Transferring $950,000.00 from the Contingent Appropriation of the General Fund for departmental expenses relating to the West Bottoms fire; recognizing an emergency.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the sum of $950,000.00 is transferred from the Contingent Appropriation of the General Fund, Account No. 99-100-017-9990-B to the following accounts in the General Fund:

99-100-057-2340-B Dangerous Building Demolition $750,000.00

99-100-023-2000-A Firefighting Force $172,000.00

99-100-021-2510-A Patrol Bureau Office $ 28,000.00

Total $950,000.00

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
