Authorizing an amendment to an agreement with Taliaferro and Browne, Inc.; and recognizing an emergency.




Section 1. That the Director of Capital Projects Department is hereby authorized to execute, on behalf of the City, a $386,970.00 Amendment No. 2 to an Agreement with Taliaferro and Browne, Inc., for design services for Project No. 89005536 - Roadway/Signals Improvements and Culvert Replacement at Blue Parkway and Eastwood Trafficway, from funds previously appropriated to Account Nos.:


AL-3397-878503-611060-89005536 $333,333.00

12-3090-878035-B-89005536 53,637.00

TOTAL $386,970.00


A copy of the amendment is on file in the Capital Projects Department.

Section 2. That this ordinance, relating to the design, repair, maintenance or construction of a public improvement, is recognized as an emergency measure within the provisions of Section 503(a)(3)(D) of the City Charter and shall take effect in accordance with that section.


I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
