ORDINANCE NO. 090022

 

Establishing for public use a portion of City owned property located at 2116 Campbell Street, Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, and directing the City Clerk to record this ordinance.

WHEREAS, a portion of property located at 2116 Campbell Street, in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, and owned by the City is needed as right of way for street improvements associated with the 22nd Street Corridor and as shown on plans filed in the Office of the Director of Public Works; and

WHEREAS, the City devotes a portion thereof for public purposes as part of said street improvement; and NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the City hereby devotes a portion of a tract of land for the purpose of public right of way (22nd Street); said tract being a part of the east half of Block 6, Boutons Addition, a subdivision in the NE Quarter of Section 8, Township 49, Range 33 in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, more particularly described as follows:

Beginning at the East Quarter (E ) corner of Section 8; thence North 02 degrees 42 minutes 55 seconds East, a distance of 452.15 feet; thence North 87 degrees 17 minutes 05 seconds West, a distance of 787.58 feet; thence North 02 degrees 42 minutes 55 seconds East, a distance of 20.35 feet to the southeast corner of said Block 6, also being the Point of Beginning; thence North 87 degrees 12 minutes 25 seconds West, along the south line of said Block, a distance of 169.83 feet to a point on the west line; thence North 02 degrees 23 minutes 59 seconds East along the west line of said Block, a distance of 35.00 feet; thence South 87 degrees

12 minutes 25 seconds East along a line parallel to the south line of said Block, a distance of 169.83 feet to a point on the east line of said Block; thence South 02 degrees 23 minutes 59 seconds West along the east line of said Block, a distance of 35.00 feet to the Point of Beginning, containing 5,944.52 square feet more or less.

Section 2. That upon the effective date of this ordinance, the City Clerk is hereby directed to cause this ordinance to be recorded in the office of the Recorder of Deeds for Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri
