COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR ORDINANCE NO. 970664

Approving an Assignment and Assumption of Franchise Rights pertaining to the operation and maintenance of chilled water facilities in Kansas City from Trigen-Kansas City Energy Corporation to Trigen Missouri Energy Corporation.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized, on behalf of the City, to enter into an Assignment and Assumption of Franchise Rights with Trigen-Kansas City Energy Corporation to Trigen Missouri Energy Corporation. A copy of the Assignment and Assumption of Franchise Rights is attached hereto and made a part hereof.
