ORDINANCE NO. 030646

 

Authorizing a six month agreement with Jackson County, Missouri that provides animal control services within Jackson County, Missouri; estimating revenue in the amount of $116,061.00 in the General Fund; and appropriating it to various accounts in the General Fund.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Neighborhood and Community Services is hereby authorized, on behalf of the City, to enter into a six month agreement, renewable annually for five additional one-year terms, with Jackson County, Missouri, to provide animal control services within Jackson County, Missouri. A copy of the agreement, in substantial form, is attached hereto and is hereby approved.

 

Section 2. That the revenue in the following account of the General Fund is hereby estimated in the following amount:

 

04-100-057-6540 Animal Jurisdictional Fees $116,061.00

 

Section 3. That the appropriations in the following accounts of the General Fund are hereby increased by the following amounts:

 

04-100-057-2615-A Field Services $ 75,081.00

04-100-057-2600-B Animal Control 30,000.00

04-100-057-2600-C Animal Control 10,980.00

TOTAL $116,061.00

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
