COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR ORDINANCE NO. 970221

 

Approving a Special Use Permit in District R-2b (Two-Family Dwellings) on approximately a 1.31 acre tract of land generally located at the northeast corner of 12th Street and Cleveland Avenue to allow expansion of a telephone exchange. (11946-P)

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That a Special Use Permit in District R-2b (Two-Family Dwellings) on approximately a 1.31 acre tract of land generally located at the northeast corner of 12th Street and Cleveland Avenue, and more specifically described as follows:

 

All that part of the Southeast 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 3, Township 49, Range 33 in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the north line of 12th Street, and the east line of Cleveland Avenue, as said street and avenue are now established; thence north along the east line of said Cleveland Avenue, 200.0 feet; thence east and parallel to the north line of said 12th Street, 215.3 feet; thence south and parallel to the east line of said Cleveland Avenue, 85.0 feet to the northwest corner of Lot 33, Sidney Place, a subdivision in said city and state; thence east along the north line of Lots 33, 32, 31, 30 and 29, a distance of 121.0 feet to a point 4.0 feet west of the northeast corner of said Lot 29, thence south and parallel to the east line of said Lot 29, a distance of 115.0 feet to the north line of said 12th Street; thence west along said north line, 336.3 feet to the point of beginning. November 1st, 1965.

 

is hereby approved. A copy of said Special Use Permit Plan is on file in the office of the City Clerk under Document No. 970221, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed Special Use Permit hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
