ORDINANCE NO. 001259

Reducing an appropriation in the amount of $100,000.00 from the Local Law Enforcement Block Grant Fund; appropriating it to the Youth Services account of the Local Law Enforcement Block Grant Fund; designating requisitioning authority; and authorizing the Director of Finance to transfer the funds.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the appropriation in the following account of the Local Law Enforcement Block Grant is hereby reduced by the following amount:

01-284-057-2805-B Kansas City, Missouri School District - S.A.I.L. $100,000.00

Section 2. That the sum of $100,000.00 is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the Local Law Enforcement Block Grant Fund to the following account in the Local Law Enforcement Block Grant Fund:

01-284-057-2715-B Youth Services $100,000.00

Section 3. That the Director of Neighborhood and Community Services is hereby designated as requisitioning authority for Account No. 01-284-057-2715.

Section 4. That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to transfer funds as specified in Section 3 above.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
