Rezoning an area of approximately 2.7 acres generally located on the east side of Central Street between 125 and 500 feet south of W. 39th Street, and both sides of Wyandotte Street between 200 and 700 feet south of W. 39th Street from Districts R-4 and C-2 to District R-1b. (14008-P)

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0854, rezoning an area of approximately 2.7 acres generally located on the east side of Central Street between 125 and 500 feet south of W. 39th Street, and both sides of Wyandotte Street between 200 and 700 feet south of W. 39th Street from Districts R-4 (Low Apartments) and C-2 (Local Retail Business) to District R-1b (One-Family Dwellings), said section to read as follows:

 

Section 80-11A0854. That areas legally described as:

 

3911 Central Street: The south 45 feet of the north 195 feet of the west 99 feet of the east 240 feet of Lot 7, Subdivision of John Harris Estate and

 

3913 Central Street: The south 37.5 feet of the north 232.5 feet of the west 100 feet of the east 240 feet of Lot 7, Subdivision of John Harris Estate.

 

are hereby rezoned from District C-2 (Local Retail Business) to District R-1b (One-Family Dwellings); that areas legally described as:

 

3915 Central Street: The north 25 feet of the west 100 feet of Lot 26, Hornbeck & Eltings Allotment,

 

3917 Central Street: The south 25 feet of the west 100 feet of Lot 26, Hornbeck & Eltings Allotment,

 

3919 Central Street: The west 100 feet of the north 25 feet of Lot 25, Hornbeck & Eltings Allotment),

 

3921 Central Street: The south 25 feet of Lot 25, Hornbeck & Eltings Allotment,

 

3927 Central Street: The north 25 feet of Lot 23, Hornbeck & Eltings Allotment,

 

3931 Central Street: The north one-half of Lot 22, Hornbeck & Eltings Allotment,

are hereby rezoned from District R-4 (Low Apartments) to District R-1b (One-Family Dwellings); all in Section 20, Township 49 North, Range 33 West, Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 80-11A0854, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and as an amendment to Section 80-11 thereof.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
