ORDINANCE NO. 920390

 

Authorizing the Director of Health to enter into an agreement with the Hospital Hill Health Services Corporation whereby HHHSC will provide pulmonary and infectious disease medical evaluation of persons with, or suspected of having, tuberculosis for one year beginning May 1, 1992, for which the City will pay $20,000.00.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the agreement between the City of Kansas City, Missouri, acting through its Director of Health, and the Hospital Hill Health Services Corporation, (HHHSC) acting through its Executive Director, whereby HHHSC will provide pulmonary and infectious disease medical evaluation of persons with, or suspected of having, tuberculosis for one year beginning May 1, 1992, for which the City will pay an amount not to exceed $20,000.00 from funds appropriated in Account No. 1-50312-B by Ordinance No. 920337 is hereby accepted and approved. A copy of the agreement is attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure, is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
