ORDINANCE NO. 010289

Amending Chapter 2, Code of Ordinances, by repealing Section 2-1279, thereby removing the requirement that disability pension payable amounts shall be reduced by sums payable by City under workers compensation law.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That Chapter 2, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, is hereby amended by repealing Section 2-1279, thereby removing the requirement that benefits payable from the Firefighters Pension System to members or their dependents shall be offset by amounts payable by the City under the workers compensation laws.
