ORDINANCE NO. 940700

Approving and accepting a contract with the State of Missouri whereby the State will provide services in primary care, mental health, medications, dental care and home health care to persons with HIV/AIDS, for the period May 1, 1994 through June 30, 1995, under the Ryan White Title I Supplemental Grant, in the amount of $803,325.00.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of Health is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with the State of Missouri to provide services in primary care, mental health, medications, dental care and home health care to persons with HIV/AIDS, for the period of May 1, 1994 through June 30, 1995, under the Ryan White Title I Supplemental Grant, in an amount of $803,325.00 previously appropriated in Account No. 95-273-050-2445-B by Ordinance No. 940558. A copy of said contract is attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
