ORDINANCE NO. 970780

 

Accepting and approving a one year $47,000.00 contract with the Missouri Department of Health to provide funding for tuberculosis outreach services and reducing revenue and appropriation accounts in the amount of $3,233.00.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That a contract between Kansas City, acting through its Director of Health, and the Missouri Department of Health, acting through its Director of Administration, whereby the State will provide funding for tuberculosis outreach services for the period July 1, 1997 through June 30, 1998, for an amount not to exceed $47,000.00, from funds previously appropriated in Account No. 100-050-2340 in Ordinance No. 960338, is hereby accepted and approved. A copy of the contract, in substantial form, is attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference.

 

Section 2. That the revenue in the following accounts of the General Fund are reduced in the following amounts:

 

98-100-050-7288 97 Indo-Chinese Refugee $ 316.00 98-100-050-7287 98 Indo-Chinese Refugee 2,917.00 TOTAL $3,233.00

 

Section 3. That the appropriation in the following account of the General Fund is hereby reduced in the following amount:

 

98-100-050-2430 Indo-Chinese Refugee Health $3,233.00

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
