ORDINANCE NO. 961406

Authorizing the Director of Public Works to enter into an agreement with Management Partners, Inc., to design a performance measurement system; and authorizing the Director of Public Works to expend $126,885.00 in previously appropriated funds therefore.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized, on behalf of the City, to enter into a $126,885.00 agreement with Management Partners, Inc., to design a performance measurement system which measures and documents accomplishments and provides for continuous improvements. A copy of the agreement is on file in the office of the Director of Public Works and is incorporated herein by reference.

Section 2. That the Director is further authorized to expend up to the sum of $126,885.00 from funds previously appropriated to Account No. 97-100-089-1000-B.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
